Before You Begin
This lesson begins with the following scenario: We are going to present a video meeting online with Clair, a Contact in our organization. The meeting will include an interactive White Board and a Poll at the end. Prior to the meeting, we'll Chat with Clair and ask if she is ready.

1. Try It: Log into Microsoft Lync
Go to Start->Microsoft Lync.
Enter your Sign-in Address.
Click Sign in.

Microsoft Lync will connect to the Microsoft Exchange Server and validate your credentials

Try This, Too: Find Someone
Go to the Contacts.
Select a Contact, please.
Click on Send an Instant Message.

So far, so good...
